Airport Information/Transfers

Cairns International Airport is located 20 kilometres south of Deja Vu; a drive of approximately 25 minutes. No need to hire a car, we will tell you the easy way to travel from the airport to Deja Vu, Transfers are made easy any time of the day. For those that love to be completely independent we have a great CAR HIRE contact with great service.

Banking Service

Most major Banks are located at Smithfield, 12 kms south of Palm Cove. Hours of Business are: Monday to Thursday 9.30am to 4.00pm and Friday 9.30am to 5.00pm. An ATM machine is located next door at the Apres Beach Bar and at the Palm Cove Tavern on Veivers Road

Beach (Patrolled)

For a morning stroll head down the Palm Cove beautiful beach and enjoy what tropical Queensland has to offer. During the months of November through to April, swim only in the swimming enclosure in front of the Surf Life Saving Club, not forgetting your own 13 metre lap pool at Deja Vu

Bus Travel

Transportation between Palm Cove and Cairns is available with the local “Sunbus” which stops at all major beach destinations along the way. Bus stops are directly in front of Palm Cove Shopping Village

Car Hire

Ask us about car hire as we have a great contact with great service.

Check In/Check Out

Check In is at 2.00pm unless otherwise agreed upon. For an early arrival, contact the property well before arrival to request early check-in. Check out is 10am. Upon availability late check out may be arranged for a fee. Failure to adhere to these procedures could result in the incurring of additional costs

Wine and dine at one of Palm Cove’s restaurants, bistro’s, cafe’s or pubs, various accompanied with live music. Poker machines and great food can be found at the famous “Surf Club” 5 minute walk, or try your luck at the Palm Cove Tavern, Summer of Sport on Plasma and Big Screens, TAB on site and regular promotions.

Food & Alcohol Shopping on arrival – make life easy

Food/Alcohol can be placed in your fridge for arrival for cost of stores plus a charge of $50

Groceries

For minor purchases, The Pantry and Coffee Shop in the Palm Cove Shopping Village (5 minute walk) is open for extended hours. Or the the Clifton Beach Shopping Centre, about 2 minutes drive

Deja vu recognizes the need for a gym mat for that exersize you just don’t want to miss out

Insurance

Deja Vu or agents take no responsibility for loss or damage to your personal belongings and we recommend travel insurance be purchased

Keys are to be collected from and returned to the the onsite Key box on departure

Mail and other postal services are available at the Post Office in the adjacent Palm Cove Shopping Village.

Minimum Stay

Normally a minimum stay of 4 nights is required unless alternate arrangements are made when booking

Parking Facilities

A double garage with automatic roller door is positioned at the front of Deja Vu for easy access direct into your living kitchen area

Palm Cove Country Club

Palm Cove Country Club is just a 3 minute drive from Deja Vu.
Consisting of an extremely challenging nine hole golf course, two Astro turf tennis courts, squash court, full gym facilities, fitness classes, bike hire, sauna and twenty five metre lap pool, catering for all sporting needs. Different classes vary from Yoga, Cardio, Water aerobics, and 2 styles of Zumba. If you are interested I can give you details for a personal trainer.

Payment

A deposit/bond of $500 (Non refundable if cancelled) is required to confirm your booking. Full payment of accommodation is due 60 days prior to your arrival. (ie 100%) must be paid to confirm your booking.

Pool

Deja Vu’s private 13 metre pool is great for fun, relaxation as well as perfect for the fitness fanatic that does not have to leave home or go to the gym to keep in shape!

Restaurants/Cafe’s

Perfect positioned opposite the boardwalk on the beach a 5 minute walk you are spoilt with the choice of local delicacy cuisine from the finest restaurants, bistros and cafes including a pizza restaurant. A must is Vivo Bar & Grill a fantastic breakfast option with superb service, great quality food and an impressive cocktail and wine list. Enjoy all of this whilst relaxing on the balcony and looking through the palm trees to the beach. Fast service can be found at the Coffee Haven for a light snack or lunch with a great outlook. Don’t miss El Grekos Greek Tavern with a cute mythology about the famous painter El Greko, you will love the friendly touches across this restaurant. The food typifies classic and modern Greek cuisine. Enjoy the Zorba Feast set menu if you’re really hungry. Not forgetting the Surf Club with different specials for every day of the week. Palm Cove Shopping Village for minor purchases is a 5 minute walk
Clifton Beach Shopping Centre is about 2 minutes drive south of Palm Cove. It houses Coles and 20 specialty shops. There is also a small convenience store in Palm Cove for immediate essentials

Services

Properties are fully self contained including bed linen and beach and bath towels. If you require your accommodation to be serviced at any time, this can be arranged for a fee
